The Department of Mechanical Engineering has a number of research groups led by a dynamic professional staff of experienced academics and practitioners. More than 127 research publications were published in referred journals by our dedicated faculties. Current research activities in the Department of Mechanical Engineering are in the areas of composite materials, heat transfer, mechanics of materials, manufacturing, material processing and nanotechnology. We are equipped with various laboratories like FMS lab, metallurgy lab, mechanics of solids lab, thermal lab for research activities.
