The Institution of Engineers India (IEI) Students Chapter at Swarnandhra College of Engineering and Technology, Narasapur is a recognized Student Chapter. It has been approved by the Institution of Engineers (India), Kolkata. On April 25, 2023, the IE(I) Student Chapter was officially launched. The student chapter code is 534280/SCET/MC. The total numbers of IEI STUDENT CHAPTER are 55. Guest of the day and college principal unveiled the department IEI student chapter banner. The presidential address was delivered by the principal of Swarnandhra College of Engineering and Technology, Dr. S. Suresh Kumar, who provided an overview of the objectives and benefits of student membership in IEIE, etc. The distinguished guest is Mr. SATISH KUMAR DUGGI, Superintendent Engineer, ONGC; Assam was introduced by the faculty coordinator. The guest addressed the assembled student participants on the role and significance of student chapters in fostering student career development and expanding employment opportunities. Mechanical Engineering department followed by the distribution of chapter membership certificates to the enrolled students.
