The department of Civil engineering is headed by Mr.G.V.L.N.Murthy Associate professor. He got his M.E degree in Transportation Engineering specialization from Osmania university, Hyderabad. His area of work is transportation planning and modeling. He presented eight research papers in national and international conferences and published nine papers in various journals. He is working with reputed organizations like National Highway Authority of India on different parameters like safety management and maintenance management. He attended to different quality improvement programs conducted by IISc, Bangalore, IITs and NITs. He is working with transportation softwares like IITPAVE, KENPAVE for design & analysis of pavements.
