Head of Department Message from the HOD

Welcome to the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Swarnandhra College of Engineering and Technology.

The Department offers two courses:
(i) B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering.
(ii) M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering.

Since its inception in 2001 with 60 B.Tech seats, the department has grown significantly. It now offers 180 seats in B.Tech and 18 in M.Tech. With a team of highly qualified faculty, we focus on both academic excellence and professional skill-building. Our programs are designed to prepare students for real-world corporate challenges.

The department runs international certifications in CCNA, Cyber Security, AWS (via EduSkills/ICT Academy), and houses Centers of Excellence in Big Data and Cyber Security. We recently received MODROB funding to establish an IoT Lab, supporting fields like Network Security and Drone Applications.

Workshops, seminars, and guest lectures from industry and academia are routine here. We actively pursue sponsored research and consultancy, and our alumni work in top companies like Wipro, TCS, Oracle, Cognizant, IBM, and more. We also have an MoU with HUAWEI Technologies for training and placement initiatives.

With these achievements, our department is the top choice for CSE aspirants. We invite young talents who want to study, teach, or innovate in this field — to come and be part of our journey.

Our faculty offers engaging undergraduate and postgraduate courses ranging from core Computer Science to emerging areas like Data Analytics, IoT, AI, and Machine Learning.
