Principal Profile

Dr. M.Sai Kiranmayi, a doctorate in English Literature from Acharya Nagarjuna University, is a professor of English and present Principal of Swarnandhra Polytechnic College has 20 years of teaching, training and administrative experience. She has been serving Swarnandhra Group of Engineering Colleges in various capacities since 2003.

She received her doctoral degree in 2018, obtained M.Phil., degree from Madurai Kamaraj University, acquired M.A., masters degree in English Literature from Andhra University and B.A. from Maris Stella College, Vijayawada affiliated to Nagarjuna University. She is also a post graduate Diploma holder in Computer Methods and Programming.

She started her teaching career as a Lecturer in English for Engineering students in Swarnandhra and ratified by JNTU, Hyderabad as Assistant Professor in 2007. She was the Editor of the news letter ‘Swarnalekha’ till June 2016 and later elevated to the post as Head Training Department. She was the NAAC Steering Committee Member, and worked in various capacities like Lecturer, Assistant and Associate Professor, Professor and Head of Sciences and Humanities Department etc. in Swarnandhra Group of Engineering Colleges.

She has organized several major events like Technical Fests, Sports and Annual Day, Fare well to final years, Graduation Day Celebrations and many more. She was trained in soft Skills at INFOSYS and achieved recognition as one of the top five performers in a batch of 40 participants. She has organised several trainings, workshops, certifications and Faculty Development Programs for faculty and students of Engineering, Post Graduation & Polytechnic students. She was the Member, General Grievances Redressal Cell and Coordinator, Women Grievances Redressal Cell.

She has been playing a prominent role in college admissions in every academic year. She was invited as a judge for Debate competitions at Vishnu group of Engineering colleges. She was instrumental in establishing several laboratories like English Language & Communication Skills laboratory, Robotics Lab, Dassault lab etc., in the college and prepared several Lab Manuals for English Labs.

She Chaired a Technical Session in a national seminar on ‘Digitalisation – Issues and Challenges’ organized by MBA Department, Sri Y N College, Narsapur on 14th Nov. 2019. She delivered English and Employability training for all III B.Tech students as a part of Andhra Pradesh Higher Education English Communication Skills Project in 2017-2018.

She has Published and presented several papers in National and International seminars and Conferences. She was nominated as a member on the Editorial Board of The International Journal for Environmental Protection and Rural Development since 2017. She received Best Paper Presenter Award in the International Conference on ‘Sustainable Tourism – Trends, Challenges and Opportunities’ conducted by St. Theresa College for Women, Eluru on 3rd & 4th February 2017. She acted as a UGC Resource Person in SAM workshop from 3rd to 7th Dec. 2012 on Women’s Studies at Moulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad. She was invited as judge for Elocution Competition held on by English Club at Sri Y.N. College, Narsapur for UG and PG students.

She was deputed as an External Subject Expert & Panel member on English Faculty Ratification Committee constituted by JNTUK, Kakinada held during March 2021 at Sri DNR Engineering College, Bhimavaram and Engineering College, Ramachandrapuram.

Dr. Kiranmayi worked as the Head of Training Department of Swarnandhra Group of Engineering Colleges during 2016-2022. She is not only a faculty in English but also a Trainer. She is the (SPOC) single point of contact of APSSDC, ARC ECM-Germany, APITA, Dassault Systemes, ICT Academy and many more Private Training Organisations tied up with the college.
